The Queen of Hip-hop Soul has found a new place to dwell.

Mary J. Blige, the six-time Grammy winner recently purchased a mansion in Saddle River, N J, for $12.3 million, according to the New York Daily News.

The house was reported to have had an original asking price of $17 million but it was dropped because of the current state of the housing market.

The newly constructed mansion, built on 4.2 acres, is reported to have eight bedrooms, eight baths, a 14-seat movie theater, an elevator, fitness center and a hardwood basketball court.

Some of the celebrities said to live in the swank area include New Jersey Nets NBA star Vince Carter, Rev. Run of Run-DMC, Rapper Ja Rule and rapper/producer Wyclef Jean.

Blige is currently on the road promoting her latest CD Growing Pains with fellow Grammy winner Jay-Z in their Heart of the City tour.
