WNBA CHAMPIONS: During the Houston Comets' recent victory parade in downtown Houston, members of the team (l-r) coach Van Chancellor, Cynthia Cooper, Tammy Jackson and Sheryl Swoopes display the trophies won in the team's four-straight WNBA championships. This year's victory was won against the New York Liberty.
The Comets dominated the playoffs and were undefeated, sweeping Sacramento, Los Angeles and New York. Swoopes was named the league's most valuable player and Cooper was the championship series MVP.
