Mrs. Harriet Slaughter, 80, retired after 20 years of service as an inspector for the United Packing Company. Her devoted mate of more than six decades, who is 83, retired after 34 years of service as a laborer with the Inter-Lake Steel Corporation. The Slaughters are the proud parents of 4, the grandparents of 19 and the great-grandparents of 16.
