DYNAMIC TENNIS DUO: Tennis partners Serena Williams and Martina Navratilova celebrate their first-round doubles match victory at the Toyota Princess Cup tennis tournament in Tokyo. Williams, the world's top ranked tennis player, normally plays doubles with her No. 2-ranked sister Venus, but Venus was not scheduled to compete in the event.
So the 20-year-old Williams teamed up with 45-year-old Navratilova, who has 165 career doubles titles and 167 singles championships. "I was having a few withdrawal symptoms from not having Venus here," said Williams, "but if I've got to be partnered with anyone else, there is nobody better than Martina."
