A SHOWSTOPPING ACT: Acclaimed cabaret singer-pianist Jo Thompson performs tunes from her new CD, Slender, Tender and Tall during a recent sold-out engagement at Tavern On The Green in New York City. She plans to dedicate her upcoming concert performance to her friend and mentor, the late jazz great Lionel Hampton, who was a regular guest at her Tavern On The Green shows.
