Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey recently withdrew her name as a nominee for this year's Daytime Emmy Awards balloting for Best Talk Show Host.

She made the decision to withdraw her name from consideration because she received the lifetime achievement honor last year from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, which administers the Daytime Emmy laurels.

"After you've achieved it for a lifetime, what else is there?" Winfrey said to Roseanne on "The Roseanne Show."

When nominations recently were unveiled, her "The Oprah Winfrey Show" remained a contender for Best Talk Show.

Winfrey currently has six Daytime Emmys for Best Talk Show Host to her credit.

The Daytime Emmy Awards is slated for May 21.
