The groom, a graduate of Boston University and the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, is a dentist. He also is newly elected to the House of Representatives 29th District in Illinois. They honeymooned in the Cayman Islands.
* Something Special: Leon Hite III married the former Tameka Watlington at the Greater Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN. The bride, who attended Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, is a customer service manager for Bank of America. The groom, who attended Austin Peay State University, co-owns the World Wide Utilities and Telecommunications Company with his wife. The couple will live in St. Louis.
* So Real, So Right: Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cedric Ransom celebrated their love by wedding at the University of Houston Chapel in Houston. The bride, Constance Yvette Minor, is assistant to the vice president of marketing for Intergen Oil & Gas. The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Houston. He is a fiber optics technician for ViaSource Communications. Montego Bay, Jamaica, is where the loving twosome honeymooned.
* Closer Than Close: Arika Walker became the wife of W. Marcus Taylor at the Second Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland. The bride is a graduate of John Carroll University. She is a fourth-grade teacher. The bridegroom is a graduate of Capital University. He completed physical therapy course training at Cleveland State University and is a licensed physical therapist. Cleveland is where the newlyweds plan to reside.
* Hearts Of Joy: Dr. Morris Eugene Kelley married Gwendolyn La Shawn Barron at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Little Rock, AR. The bride, a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, is registered nurse clinician for United Medical, Inc. The groom, a graduate of Morehouse College and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, is a resident physician in internal medicine. They honeymooned in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
* Everlasting: Mr. and Mrs. Junius McRae celebrated 58 years of marriage at the church they founded, New Galilee Church of God in Christ Jesus, Apostolic Faith, Inc., in Fayetteville, NC. Church mother Mrs. Neva McRae, 82, is a retired assembler. Her devoted mate, 87, is chairman of the deacon board. A World War II Army veteran, Junius McRae retired as a press operator from the Federal Maritime Commission. They are the parents of one. They have three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
