Should the new baseball team slated for the nation's capital next year be named the Washington Senators? The District of Columbia's Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton says "No" because the city has no voting members in Congress. Mayor Anthony Williams suggests the name "The Grays" in honor of the Homestead Grays, a Black professional team that used the city as a base in the '40s.

Angle: Ironically, ex-Mayor Marion Barry, who earlier won in the City Council primary election from the District's poorest ward, campaigned against a new baseball park in favor of more jobs, housing and health facilities.
