Thurgood Marshall Club of Medgar Evers College Legacy Award

George H. Andrews, a philanthropist and founder of the New York Metropolitan Chapter of Alabama State University (ASU), was honored with the first Thurgood Marshall Club of Medgar Evers College Legacy Award. The ASU alumnus has helped put over 225 urban youth into four-year Black colleges. For his contributions, the award will now be titled the "Honorable George H. Andrews Legacy Award."
