O'Jays ink multi-album deal with Music World Music

Caption: O'JAYS, INK MULTI-ALBUM DEAL WITH MUSIC WORLD MUSIC: Legendary soul crooners the O'Jays and Mathew Knowles, president and CEO of Houston-based Music World Music, Inc./Sanctuary and father of superstar singer Beyonce, celebrate the group's six-album deal with Knowles' Music World Music (MWM) label, distributed by Sony Music. Members of the O'Jays, who include Walter L. Williams Sr., Eric Nolan Grant and Eddie Levert St., recently finalized the deal with Knowles and Sony Music President Donnie Ienner in New York. The O'Jays have recorded more than 50 hit singles during their 43 year's in music, including the breakout song Back Stabbers. Their first album on the MWM label, which is due out this summer, will feature a duet with Destiny's Child.
