REIGNING WOLVERINE: Tommy Amaker smiles during his introduction as the University of Michigan's head basketball coach at a news conference in Ann Arbor, MI. The 35-year-old Amaker, who was 68-55 in four seasons at Seton Hall, signed a multiyear contract reportedly worth more than $500,000 per season.

The former Duke star replaces Brian Ellerbe who was fired last month. "I'm certainly proud to represent our university and our program," the enthusiastic Amaker said. "This is a program that stands for excellence."
