* PRESIDENTIAL WELCOME: President Bush accepts a souvenir Spurs jersey presented to him by members of the NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs, including (l-r) Kevin Willis, Bruce Bowen, Tim Duncan and Malik Rose, during a ceremony in the Rose Garden of the White House. President Bush praised the team for its championship run in its defeat of the New Jersey Nets in six games in June to win the Spurs' second NBA title. The president said the Spurs players and coaches are champions on and off the court.
