All votes are in and the decision is unanimous. The EBONY Fashion Fair is a huge hit! For another consecutive year East Coast fashion lovers were treated to the latest clothing designs when "Living It Up" made its way into Washington, D.C., at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
EBONY Fashion Fair once again brought its audience couture creations by some of the world's most respected designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Thierry Mugler, Missoni and Zang Toi.
Onlookers ooohed and aaahed at the elegant evening gowns, figure-flattering dresses and tailored suits that made the evening a memorable event for the ladies and gentlemen as well.
Among the outfits leaving a lasting impression were the playful cocktail dress by Tillman Grawe haute couture, Paris, a sweater duster and matching tube top made from crocheted hearts by Laura Biagiotti, Milan, and a modern-day zoot suit by Bramer Leon, Atlanta.
The Continental Society, Inc. was the sponsor of the event, which benefited Operation Awareness: HEER Five-Point Program dedicated to helping underprivileged and disadvantaged children and youth.
