On the ball
Jet, May 19, 2008
Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama moves the ball toward the basket at a practice with members of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels during a campaign stop at the Dean Smith Center in Chapel Hill, NC. There were 115 delegates at stake in the Tar Heel State's recent Democratic primary, where the junior Illinois senator commanded strong support among Blacks and college students. In addition to the recent primary and caucus contests in North Carolina, Indiana and Guam, the Democratic presidential candidates will face off this month in West Virginia, Kentucky and Oregon.
