J. Anthony Brown Pens Book Based On His Popular 'Rev. Adenoids' Radio Sketch
Jet, April 17, 2000
Comedian-radio personality J. Anthony Brown is doing it all. As co-host of the ABC radio network's "Tom Joyner Morning Show," the largest syndicated, live, urban radio broadcast in the U.S., he already has out a line of t-shirts, CDs and hot sauce. Yes, hot sauce!
These days Brown will be serving up even more spice with the recent release of his first book, Rev. Adenoids' Church Announcements (KKT Publishing, $8.00).
The pocket-sized book, filled with anecdotes that illustrate the humor among churchgoers, was inspired by his popular radio sketch, Rev. Adenoids, the pastor of a fictional church who reads announcements every Monday morning.
