The 20-year-old singer and actress is becoming comfortable with taking her talents and beauty from behind the mic to in front of the camera.

Knowles made her acting debut last year in MTV's Carmen: A Hip-Hopera opposite Mekhi Phifer. This summer she will appear in her first feature film with Mike Myers as Foxxy Cleopatra, a '70s detective, in the comedy Austin Powers in Gold-member.

In "Beyonce Heats up Hollywood!" the multi-award-winning artist talks about her legal troubles and her goal not to let others steal the happiness of her success.

In addition to acting on the silver screen, Knowles is in the studio recording her solo project that will be released this fall.

EBONY also notes that Will Smith, Queen Latifah, Busta Rhymes and now Bow Wow are all big-time music makers who have taken their skills and used them to cash in on what Tinsel Town has to offer. The July issue takes a look at the emcees who have successfully crossed over into the world of acting in "Rappers Go Hollywood."
