> OPRAH IN SOUTH AFRICA: TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey stands in front of hundreds of children in Durban, South Africa, during a promotional visit. While visiting South Africa, she donated $10 million for the construction of a school for girls in Henley-on-Klip, south of Johannesburg. The school will be called the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls and will educate 450 girls from disadvantaged backgrounds from South Africa and the rest of Africa.
