Easy Holiday Side Dish
Ginger Sweet Potatoes make a great side dish with any of your holiday meals. These sweet potatoes are light enough to compliment ham, turkey and beef. Best of all, the dish is delicious and easy to make.
Ginger Sweet Potatoes 3 cans of sweet potatoes 1 stick butter 1/2 cup heavy cream 1/4 cup brandy 2 tablespoons ground ginger Salt and white pepper to taste In a large saucepan, over medium high heat, bring sweet potatoes to a boil and drain. Add butter, cream, brandy and ginger to sweet potatoes and whip to blend. Season the sweet potatoes with salt and pepper to taste. Yields 6 servings
