Tennessee Titans star cornerback Samari Rolle recently wed the beautiful Danisha Hemphill during a luminous ceremony at Vine Street Church in Nashville, TN, during the team's bye week.
The bride lit up the flower-filled church as she glided down the aisle in an ivory-colored Vera Wang gown. The twosome cited vows and took their first communion as their commitment to each other was solidified before family, friends, and God.
Hemphill was studying for a B.A. in psychology at Florida A&M and Rolle was studying political science at Florida State when they met in 1996 and became instant friends.
Hemphill, 26, who received her master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University, is a Parenting Intervention Counselor for at risk youth in Nashville. Rolle, 27, has been picking off passes for six years in the NFL and earned his first Pro Bowl berth in 2000.
The loving couple, who reside in Nashville, plan to honeymoon after the Titans' football season.
