Gospel fest tribute

The Rev. Willie T. Barrow (c), chairman emerita of Rainbow/PUSH Coalition and minister of justice at the Vernon Park Church of God in Chicago, is congratulated on her outstanding leadership in gospel and the civil rights arenas by gospel singer Yolanda Adams and Pam Morris, coordinator of the Chicago Gospel Festival, during a special salute at the 20th annual festival in the city's Grant Park.
Rev. Barrow was serenaded by the famed Queen of Gospel Albertina Walker and "American Idol" contestant singer Jennifer Hudson. A record of more than 260,000 people attended the Gospel Festival weekend.
