Getting better with age

GETTING BETTER WITH AGE: Mrs. Lucille Marie Staley Griffith recently celebrated 106 years of life with family and close friends during a birthday dinner at the Wellesley Inn in White Plains, NY. Mrs. Griffith, a native of Orangeburg, SC, and the current resident & Huntington, NY, is the widow of the late Arthur Griffith.
During her younger years she worked in domestic services while caring for her five sons and two daughters. One son and one daughter are still living. Mrs. Griffith, a grand, great-grand and great-great grandmother to several children, and the senior member of the Mt. Ennon Baptist Church, credits her longevity to reading the Bible and caring and trusting in God.
