Philadelphia Mayoral Primary Winner

Former Philadelphia City Council President John F. Street addresses supporters aider he announced his victory in Philadelphia's recent Democratic mayoral primary. He will face White Republican mayoral candidate Marty Weinberg, a lawyer, in the Nov. 2 general election. "I am enormously pleased about the way I conducted my campaign," Street said.
"But as the winning candidate, I now have to do what I can to bring the party together, not just for me but for the city of Philadelphia."
