The bride is employed by Southern University as a child care trainer. The groom is employed by the Iberia Parish School Board as a high school teacher and athletic coach. Ocho Rios, Jamaica, is where the happy lovebirds honeymooned. They will reside in New Iberia, LA.

* In The Spirit: Michael T. Wilkes pledged his eternal love to Priscilla R. Perry at the beach in Jacksonville, FL. The bride attended Drake University. She is a universal banker with Bank of America. The groom attended Ohio University and the University of Florida. He is CEO of Wilkes and Partners and co-owner of Tender Ribs Bar-B-Que Restaurant in Jacksonville. They will honeymoon on Amelia Island.

* With Me Always: Audrey La Vern Roberts became the wife of Ronnie Al Armistad at the Sardis Baptist Church in Dawson, GA. The bride is a graduate of Paine College and Troy State University. She is the principal at the Augusta Youth Development Campus. The groom is also a graduate of Paine College. Retired from the U.S. Navy, the bridegroom is a clinical coordinator with the Department of Veteran Affairs at the Veterans Hospital.

* The Best Decision: Kwende Burrill Jones and Nicole Juanita Mitchell joined as one at the Beulah Baptist Church in Atlanta. A graduate of Spelman College, the bride is an Internet services manager with the Federated Systems Group. A graduate of Morehouse College and the University of Georgia School of Law, the groom is an attorney with Burr & Forman, LLP. Hawaii was the honeymoon spot. Stone Mountain, GA, is where they will live.

* Guided By God: Rhonda Michelle Hunter wed Edward Arthur Brogdon at the House of God in Florence, SC. The bride, a registered nurse with McLeod Health, is a graduate of Clemson University. She is doing graduate work at Webster University. The groom, an assistant principal and football coach with the East Clarendon school district, is a graduate of East Carolina University and Francis Marion University. The couple will live in Olanta, SC.

* Jewel Of A Day: Mr. Harvey E. Walden, Jr. and his wife, Lillian, commemorated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends during a luncheon and reception at the Hilton Hotel in Oak Lawn, IL. They are both retired federal government workers. The Waldens are also members of the Grant Memorial Church in Chicago. They are the parents of five, the grandparents of 10 and the great-grandparents of 10.
