PROUD AND MEMORABLE MOMENT: Judge Moira S. Johnson is sworn in as a Cook County Circuit Court Judge by the Honorable Willie M. Whiting at the State of Illinois Supreme Court Room in Chicago. Judge Johnson is currently assigned to the Traffic Division at the Richard J. Daley Center in Chicago. She brings 18 years of practice in the field of litigation to the bench.
The experienced litigator, in 1986 after only three years of practice, was noted as one of five plaintiff's attorneys who tried the most jury cases in Cook County in five years. A graduate of the DePaul University College of Law and Sarah Lawrence College, Johnson is a past president of the Illinois Association of Administrative Law Judges.
