She is a business analyst at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. The bridegroom is the proprietor of The Kid 'N Me, which specializes in creating furniture for children. Montego Bay, Jamaica, is where the happy couple spent their honeymoon.

* Special Occasion: Walter H. Johnson III pledged his eternal love to Timia Marie Bradley at Saint Nicholas Church in Egg Harbor City, NJ. A graduate of Rutgers University, the bride is a 3rd-grade elementary teacher. A graduate of Rowan University, the groom is a 6th-grade elementary teacher. They are both with the Atlantic City, NJ, School District. The Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico were honeymoon spots.

* Loving Twosome: Cyrill Lionell Weems joined in holy matrimony with Terri Ann Lester at the St. John Baptist Church in Detroit. The bride is a graduate of Ohio University. She is a certified public accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers. The groom is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He is a construction engineer project manager. The newly-weds will make their home in Detroit.

* You're My Destiny: Sanford DeJuan Kidd and Tamaka Deanna Laffitte wed at the Greater Union Baptist Church in Mobile, AL. The bride, an educator for the Mobile County Public School System, is a graduate of Alabama A&M University. The groom, who attended Jefferson State College, is a regional manager for the Money Tree Incorporated. They honeymooned in the Western Caribbean Islands.

* Cherished Day: Russell Robinson strolled down the aisle with Regina Woodruff at the Covenant Blessing Fellowship of Torrance in Long Beach, CA. An assistant director for the Los Angeles Urban League Business & Career Center, the bride is a graduate of Howard University. A maintenance technician for RCN Communications, the groom attended Cerritos College. Bellflower, CA, is where they will reside.

* Anniversary Celebration: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pelt, Jr. of Boligee, AL, commemorated 56 blessed years of marriage with family and friends. Mrs. Pearl Pelt retired from the Greene County Headstart Program after 30 years of service. Her mate of 56 years retired from farming after four decades. The Pelts have 14 children, 51 grandchildren and 30 greatgrandchildren.
