* BOSTON MARATHON WINNER: Robert Cheruiyot of Kenya raises his trophy after he won the 107th Boston Marathon. Cheruiyot, 24, finished the 26-plus mile race with a time of 2 hours, 10 minutes, 11 seconds. Kenyans swept the first five spots in the men's race, and eight of the first nine. It was the 12th time in 13 years that a Kenyan has won the race.
"I like the way people make encouragement along the way," Cheruiyot said. "They are happy about Africans, and I like that."
