With a special invitation to young adults to participate in establishing priorities for the rest of the century, NAACP Board Chairman Julian Bond and Harvard Law School professor Charles Ogletree will convene the first annual National Leadership 500 Seminar May 26-29 in Destin, FL. Members are hopeful the country's largest civil rights organization will have a new leader by the end of summer. A search committee is still trying to pick a successor to ex-NAACP CEO Kweisi Mfume.
