CHECK YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE: Former NBA star Norm Nixon gets his blood pressure checked by Dr. Pam Blakley as Dr. Bill Releford, founder of the Black Barbershop Program, looks on, at Inglewood's Finest Barbershop in California. Nixon is helping to launch the First Annual National Barbershop Initiative to address cardiovascular disease in Black men when they visit the barbershop. The program hopes to screen more than 500,000 men for diabetes and hypertension and promote healthy lifestyle changes. For more information visit www.blackbarbershop.org.
