Celebs take spotlight at Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute gala

The Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute gala is the Big Apples social event of the season and debuts the museum's major fashion exhibit of spring.
The theme was Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy. The exhibition features a fascinating collection of 60 ensembles, including superhero movie costumes and high-performance sportswear.
However. the exhibit was a backdrop for the evening's biggest fashion attraction--the galaxy of gorgeous gowns and tony tuxes adorning the celebrity guests.
