They honeymooned in Florida and the Bahamas.

To God Be The Glory: Mr. and Mrs. Gathan Wilkins pledged their eternal love during a touching ceremony at the Second Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, LA. The blushing bride is the former Teressa Norwood. She is a cosmetologist and property manager. The proud bridegroom is a union sheet-metal worker. He also is an apprentice student. The loving twosome will reside in Baton Rouge.

Sealed With A Kiss: Donald Leon Ramsey Jr. and the former Tracie Michelle Thompson married at the First Hopewell Baptist Church in Mobile, AL. The bride, a graduate of Tuskegee University and Northeastern University, is a reliability engineer at Dow Corning. The groom, a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, is a products supervisor at Konica Manufacturing. They honeymooned in Negril.

Golden Love: Mr. Robert L. Tolbert, Sr. and his wife, Ruby Henderson-Tolbert, commemorated five decades of love by renewing their marital vows in front of family and friends at the New Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Arkabutla, MS. Mrs. Ruby Henderson-Tolbert retired from the Trojan Luggage Company. Her dedicated mate for 50 years is a retired construction worker. They are the parents of 13; one is deceased. The Tolberts are the grandparents of 35 and the great-grandparents of 24.

Bernadette Clarke, Daughter Of JPC V.P. J. Lance Clarke, Weds Jamal Speakes

Bernadette Clarke and Jamal Speakes recently exchanged wedding vows at the Los Angeles Church of Christ in California.

The bride is the daughter of J. Lance Clarke, senior vice president and general manager of Fashion Fair Cosmetics, a division of Johnson Publishing Co. (JPC), in Chicago.

An actress, she is a graduate of the University of Georgia. Her acting credits include the films To Sir, With Love II and love jones, and stage productions of Nomathemba, at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and For colored girls who have considered suicide, when the rainbow is enuf in Chicago.

The groom is director of the Regional Teen Program of The YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles, and a graduate of Norfolk State University.

Some 200 guests attended the ceremony officiated by the Rev. Kai Foster, pastor of the Los Angeles Church of Christ.

After the couple gave vows and "jumped the broom" in the African tradition, they joined guests for a sit-down dinner during a reception at the Up-Side Down Club in Hollywood.

The couple honeymooned in Maui, HI, and will reside in Los Angeles.
