NO LIGHT WEIGHT HERE: Floyd Mayweather Jr. wears his belts as he celebrates in the ring after he defended his WBC lightweight championship title--he remains undefeated--with a seventh round knockout of Phillip Ndou at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI. Mayweather, a native of Grand Rapids, dominated Ndou (31-2, 30 KO) through the fight, including the three consecutive straight rights that floored the South African midway through the seventh.
