Tavis Smiley devotes a week-long series to Jonathan Demme's documentary footage on post-Katrina New Orleans "Right to Return: New Home Movies from the Lower 9th Ward." The five short films chart the efforts of a disparate group of New Orleanians who braved unimaginable adversity after the floods of 2005 in an attempt to reclaim their homes, (Monday, May 28 through June 1; check your local listing for date and time in your city) on PBS. Gaius Charles on "Friday Night Lights," (Sunday, May 27 at 9 p.m., ET) on NBC.

Shar Jackson on "Ex-Wives Club," (Monday, May 28 at 9 p.m., ET) on ABC.

Percy Daggs on "Veronica Mars," (Tuesday, May 29 at 8 p.m., ET) on CW. Dennis Haysbert/Regina Taylor on "The Unit," (Tuesday, May 29 at 9 p.m., ET) on CBS.
