The groom, a graduate of Florida A&M University and Troy State University, is the registrar of the Morehouse School of Medicine. They honeymooned at the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, TN.

She is a benefits manager for Telephonics Corporation. The groom is partner at Auto Profile Accessories, Inc. The happy couple enjoyed a romance-filled Caribbean cruise. They plan to reside in Long Island, NY.

* Joy: Rev. and Mrs. Charles A. Smith celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows at the Pond Street Baptist Church in Providence, RI. Mrs. Frances E. Smith retired, from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Rhode Island after 11 years of service. Her dedicated mate for five decades is retired from the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Postal Service. Rev. Smith, an ordained Baptist minister, serves as Associate Pastor at Pond Street Baptist Church. They have seven children, 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
