Singers Kenny Lattimore & Chante Moore host post wedding reception in Los Angeles
Jet, May 20, 2002
Four months after singers Kenny Lattimore and Chante Moore rang in the new year by eloping during a quiet ceremony in Jamaica, the newlyweds celebrated their union with a post-wedding reception for family and friends at the Window restaurant in Los Angeles.
When the couple spoke to JET shortly after their clandestine ceremony earlier this year, the "soul mates" said they were so in love that they couldn't wait for a formal wedding ceremony (JET, Feb. 4, 2002).
"I didn't want to wait and put on a show for the world," Lattimore told JET. "Weddings are usually for everyone else and hot the bride and groom. I thought about our just doing this and eloping. We're going to have a reception later where everyone can come."
