* RAINBOW/PUSH SILICON VALLEY PROJECT: The Rev. Jesse Jackson hosted his fourth annual Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Silicon Valley Project at the San Jose (CA) Fairmont Hotel. He is joined by several of this year's key participants and honorees (l-r) Butch Wing, director, Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Silicon Valley Project; Kenneth Coleman, CEO, ITM Software; Carly Fiorina, CEO, Hewlett-Packard; Richard Leza, CEO, AI Research; and Ronald Jones, CEO, SongPro.
The conference focused on finding employment in today's job market; women of color in action; digital diversity initiatives in Silicon Valley; and emerging entrepreneurs making headway in spite of the economic downturn in the technology industry.
