Mary Williams Named Lincoln Mercury Ethnic Marketing Manager

Mary Williams has been appointed Lincoln Mercury Ethnic Marketing Manager.

Williams will expand the relevance of Lincoln and Mercury products to various ethnic markets in the newly created position developed to emphasize Ford Motor Company's focus on diversity and ethnic marketing.

She works with Uniworld Inc., a leading ethnic marketing agency, to create TV, print and radio ads as well as ethnic marketing events.

Williams, who has worked for Ford Motor Company for 16 years, previously managed Mercury brand communications, as well as ethnic marketing.

The Bucknell University graduate who majored in psychology and sociology was an integral part of the team that launched the all-new 1999 Mercury Cougar. She worked on the Lincoln marketing team prior to joining the Mercury team.

While Williams has spent the last three years of her career at Lincoln Mercury, she previously worked in the Ford customer service division and Ford division. She was a part of the Ford customer service division's diversity council and was a co-chair of the committee responsible for developing the diversity communication strategy.
