Ebony fashion fair's `The changing trends of fashion': makes big splash in D.C

Jet, Nov 19, 2001

The nation's capital was taken by storm when EBONY Fashion Fair's "The Changing Trends of Fashion" came to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall.

Well-dressed Washingtonians saw mind-blowing creations that ran the gamut for just about every occasion. If you preferred daring to diva or casual to chic designs, "The Changing Trends of Fashion" served it all up just for you. A wide array of outfits ranging from evening gowns, dresses, pant suits, coats, sweaters and swimsuits made it difficult for patrons to decide which designs they liked best! Male supporters were given the star treatment too as they learned how to put their fashion inhibitions aside while viewing the hottest creations for men this season.

The Washington, D.C., chapter of the Continental Societies sponsored the event, which benefited KIDSS (Kindness Is Doing Something Special).
