* NEW CONGRESSWOMAN ON THE BLOCK: Rep.-elect Gwen Moore meets with the media during an interview in Washington, D.C. Moore, Wisconsin's first and only Black congresswoman, was in Washington to jockey for committee assignments and to work to build a staff for her congressional office. She defeated Republican lawyer Gerald Boyle to succeed Rep.
Jerry Kleczka in Milwaukee's 4th Congressional District. "We have brought our collective voices together and I am so privileged ... I'll be privileged to have this shrill, hoarse voice out there in Washington trying to bring sanity back to America;' said the former Wisconsin state senator who is a single mother of three.
