John Hammond leads 100 Black Men of America organization

John B. Hammond III is the new president and CEO of 100 Black Men of America. In this post, Hammond will be responsible for the 106 worldwide chapters of the organization that promotes education and economic empowerment in the Black community.
He formerly served as senior manager at Booz Allen Hamilton. And prior to that, he was an independent consultant for organizational change and development for federal and state agencies, as well as universities.
Hammond earned a mechanical engineering degree from MIT, and an MBA from Emory.
He has taught courses at MIT's Sloan School of Management in Massachusetts, Harvard and Emory Universities and has led more than 100 MBA students to South Africa in an effort to find ways for the United States to contribute to the continent.
He is married to Yoko (Kusumoto) Hammond and has three children.
