Raphael Saadiq, the Grammy Award-winning writer who penned Erykah Badu's Love of My Life, recently bought a home in the Hollywood Hills for a reported $1.4 million.
The Spanish-style house was built in 1938 and belonged to actress Melissa Joan Hart, according to the Hot Property section of the L.A. Times. It has three bedrooms, three baths, an office and two fireplaces in 4,000 square feet, the paper reported.
The master suite has a sitting room and the grounds have a pool, waterfall and fountains along with a city view.
The tune Saadiq penned for Badu was featured on the Brown Sugar soundtrack. The 35-year-old also has produced for such artists as D'Angelo, TLC and Snoop Dogg.
