Kim Boyle, a partner at Phelps Dunbar law firm in New Orleans, a former president of the New Orleans Bar Association and a former assistant professor of law at Loyola University Law School, has been elected president of the Louisiana State Bar Association. She is the first Black woman to hold the post and will serve the 2008-2009 term.
