Los Angeles Lakers forward Robert Horry recently purchased a home in the Marina del Rey section of L.A. for about $1.1 million, according to reports.

The Hot Property section of the Los Angeles Times reported that Horry, 31, purchased a 3,700-square-foot, custom-built, contemporary-style home that has four bedrooms and four baths.

The three-story house, near the Pacific Ocean, was built in the 1980s and has glass-block walls and skylights, an elevator, three-car garage, wet bar and two fireplaces.

Horry will make $5.3 million in each of the next two seasons with the Lakers. The paper reported that he considered opting out of his contract to be closer to his wife and two children in Houston, but he decided to remain when his wife told him to play basketball wherever he'd be happiest, even though she doesn't want to live in L.A.
