Paul L. Underwood Jr., M.D., an interventional cardiologist in Phoenix, was installed as the 10th president of the Atlanta-based Association of Black Cardiologists (ABC), Inc. Underwood will preside over the 2004-2006 term. The ABC, a 600-member nonprofit organization, is dedicated to reducing cardiovascular disease in minorities.
