The special features winners of the National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master Award.

Lewis is the host of the 13-week series which debuts in January 2006, marking the first time in 40 years that jazz has been the focus of a national network weekly show. Guests on upcoming segments include legendary trumpeter Clark Terry, saxophonist Benny Golson, pianist George Duke, trumpeter Roy Hargrove, organist Dr. Lonnie Smith and bass player Marcus Miller.
