Mrs. Johnson honored

* MRS. JOHNSON HONORED: Mrs. Eunice W. Johnson, secretary and treasurer of Johnson Publishing Company and producer and director of the Ebony Fashion Fair, the world's largest traveling fashion show, is accompanied by her granddaughter, Alexa Rice, at the Loyola University Chicago's Founders Dinner 2007 gala. They are greeted by Loyola University Chicago President Michael Garanzini (l) and Jack Wall, dean of the Loyola School of Social Work. Mrs. Johnson, who earned a master's in social work at Loyola University Chicago in 1941, was among the distinguished alumni who were honored during the evening's festivities. Mrs. Johnson received the university's prestigious Damen Award in recognition of her "leadership in industry, leadership in the community and service to others," said Loyola President Garanzini.
