> Adrien Katherine Wing, a University of Iowa College of Law professor since 1987, has been named the Bessie Dutton Murray Distinguished Professor of Law. Wing, author of more than 60 publications, is the first Black woman to be awarded an endowed chair in the 154-year history of the university. She also is the chair-elect of the 900-member Association of American Law Schools Minority Professor Section.
