Caption: A TRIBUTE TO ASHFORD & SIMPSON: Legendary music performers Nikolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson (c) receive warm wishes from famed singer Dionne Warwick (r) and Patricia Cruz, executive director of the Aaron Davis Hall (ADH), after Warwick and Cruz presented the legendary husband-and-wife songwriting-singing duo with an honor during a tribute to Ashford & Simpson given by the ADH in New York. The couple was the recipient of the ADH Harlem Renaissance Award, which is presented to artists of color whose works exemplify the spirit and legacy of the Harlem Renaissance. The ADH is Harlem's principal center for the performing arts. Warwick performed a tribute to the couple at the gala. Classic songs written and produced by Ashford & Simpson include Ain't No Mountain High Enough, You're All I Need To Get By, Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing and Reach Out And Touch Somebody's Hand.
