Caption: A PRAYER ANSWERED: Actor Tommy "Tiny" Lister shares a tender moment with the former Felicia Forbes of Cape Town, South Africa, after they married in Cape Town. The wedding took place at the home of noted South Africa construction developer Faik Haroun and his wife, Malie. The nuptials were officiated by Pastor Wayne Meyer of His People Christian Church in Cape Town, where Forbes is a missionary and minister. The two met in January of 2003 while Lister was working in Cape Town on the upcoming action film Blast, which will star popular actor-comedian Eddie Griffin. Famed actor Samuel L. Jackson was among the celebrity guests. Lister and Jackson are members of West Angeles Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles. The groom said he prayed for a wife rooted in Christ. "Life is an awesome blessing because of the love I have for my mother and father, Tommy and Mildred Faye, who have been married for 48 years, whose love for me is the love that I have in my life now for God and my wife," he told JET. Lister portrays the bully Deebo in the comedies Friday and Next Friday. He has also appeared in the films The Wash, The Players Club, Jackie Brown and The Fifth Element. The couple will have homes in Cape Town and L.A.
