The groom, a grad of Prairie View A & M University, is an electrical engineer. He also owns an office supply company. The couple resides in Phoenix and honeymooned in Tahiti, Bora Bora, and Moorea.

* Paradise On Earth: Derex Penn and Melissa Hodge united in holy matrimony at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta. The bride is a graduate of Grambling State University and Liberty University. She is program coordinator at Georgia State University. The groom is a graduate of the University of Delaware. He is a service technician for Bellsouth Telecommunications. Metro Atlanta is where the loving twosome will reside.

* Meant To Be: Joycelynn Watkins pledged her eternal love to Charles Asiyanbi at Lincoln Memorial Congregational United Church of Christ in Chicago. * To God Be Praised: Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Kimball of Gadsden, AL, celebrated 60 years of love and happiness with family and friends at the Top of the River Restaurant in Gadsden. Mrs. Minnie B. Kimball is a housewife. Her mate of six decades retired from the Republic Steel Plant after 33 years of service. They are the parents of four daughters. The Kimballs also have 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
