The video, produced by hip hop musician/songwriter will.i.am, and Mike Jurkovac, was made by combining clips of Obama presenting the speech with a diverse group of celebrities singing "Yes We Can" and other powerful words spoken by Obama at the primary.

This is the first time that an Emmy for Best New Approaches in Daytime Entertainment has been awarded.

Tatyana Ali, Nick Cannon, Common and John Legend are among the many stars who lent their voices to will.i.am's video.

Support for Obama, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, in the music industry is also evident through other hip-hop artists such as LL Cool J, Talib Kweli and Mos Def via their public and/or musical praise for him. To watch will.i.am's Yes We Can Song, visit www.yeswecansong, com.
